Guidelines for Caring After a Deep Cleaning Procedure:
1. You might experience sensitivity to cold and heat within the initial 24 hours.
2. Refrain from consuming hot foods or beverages until the effects of the anesthesia fade.
3. Avoid intense physical activities and extremely hot or spicy foods for the following 24 hours.
4. Steer clear of alcohol and smoking for 48 hours post-treatment.
5. Some degree of bleeding is to be expected; should bleeding be excessive, please contact our office.
6. Use ibuprofen or acetaminophen as necessary, following the instructions on the label or those provided by your doctor.
7. Rinse your mouth with warm salt water (1 tsp in 8 oz water) three times daily.
8. Gently brush and floss your teeth; you can resume your usual routine once the soreness diminishes.
9. Adhere to all instructions provided during your visit.
10. Take all prescribed medications as directed by your healthcare provider.
